I'm watching the beginning of that video and literally trying to coax the view down to see the bench a little better when right on cue I see "My bench rocks" on screen. Glad are out shooting again. Looks just like my new HW30 but all grown up.

Sonny it really is , plus the muzzle break makes it SO much nicer than a front sight when cocking

Another great video, Joe. I have to agree with your assessment of the HW80/R1. I bought one in .177 back in 1984 and it still is my favorite pellet gun. Funny thing - I get the best groups with the Baracuda/Kodiak pellet and my rifle scatters the Crosmans just like yours. Nice to know they are still being made with the same quality after 30+ years.

Thanks Paul , I was surprised that crosmans shot so poorly , but a gun likes what it likes I guess . 
I was really impressed with the rifle , and REALLY impressed with how it cocked . It feltlike bending a Willow limb . Absolutely No hint of binding or roughness...Quality has a certain feel , this thing has that in spades
