Shooting a detuned hw90 at 25 yards. Front bag rested. 22 caliber. Doesn't get much better than this! 15 foot pounds. 
HW 90 Accuracy at 15 ftlbs.

One of the more interesting things touted of gas springs is that they are less hold sensitive. Have you found that to be the case? Also, how did you de-tune it?

I bought it detuned. Very easy to get good groups. The trigger is very light.. also a heavy bench type gun. Not one to carry about.

by detuning I assume it has been de-pressurized?
I have the Beeman RX and a HW90...I run both at less than recommended max pressures and they perform quite well.
yes, they are heavy but they are very well made, reliable and durable.

Hey I would like to know how your trigger is set up like the amount of turns in/out of the big screw in front of trigger and the one in the trigger. Also how is your barrel pivot tension? I just been having issues with my rx2. It will group good then vertical stringing then group. So anything you can tell me about your rifle will greatly help me hopefully

Personally, I've owned both and I didn't notice any difference between a Magnum springer or a gas-ram.

I have adjusted the trigger all the way in to all the way out and everything in between and did not find the second stage.

Good to know. I've been wondering if gas rams had some redeeming virtue. It appears that good springs trump them at just about every turn. I have notice that in the UK some TX200 shooters are having them "short stroked". I wonder what that does...?
