HW 95 problem solved

Bought a new HW 95 from AOA about six weeks ago and have been super frustrated trying to get it to group. Finally took the scope off and shot factory irons and it started shooting pretty decent. So then I put a rear peep on it and back to shooting like crap. Last night I was reading the thread on rear peep height, When I read Mycapt65’s post on the cocking arm binding up causing problems, I knew I had to look into that. Turned out to be a fairly easy fix, problem solved. I now have a fine shooting tack driver that it should have been when I first got it. It’s a shame that quality control at Weihrauch isn’t any better than it is to let a gun like this get out the door. Very thankful to Mycapt65 For the information needed for me to fix this myself. And TXRMike For posting the link

Interesting .. ive seen a guy or two using new replacment (parts) arms and the bend was off . Now being yours is a new gun strange...

Then maybe becoming more comon new or as a replacement part.? Bayman at gta got a thread on that arm.

Then you did not say what caused your binding.. the arm or shoe ?

The cocking arm was hitting the underneath side of the breech, not allowing it to close all the way

Exactly.... Ya, they compare the old " good" arm to the new one and the hend was not the same or not enugh bend as the original that came in the gun..

Anyway glad you got it going...

Maybe one more thing to check as a fyi

When they make the bend it can develop a bulge or im calling it a camel hump in the bend that may need taken down

Pretty much start seeing the bluing rubbed as well
