They use Danish oil. I am not sure what that is.
Hi, Glad you like it, the oil finish should let you feel the wood, if you wish to apply further coats of Danish oil (non coloured) from DIY stores you can, apply sparingly to outer surfaces only, finish the checkering/stippling with a drop of oil on a small stiff bristle brush, wipe off excess ,leave to dry, then buff gently. Follow instructions on the tin.
