HW100 - can they go really low pwr?

Update: I purchased this one and it landed here at the house today via UPS. :)

I shot it a little bit over my chrony with baracuda hunter extremes (9.57g) and yowza - 970-980fps -- I'm guessing thats a bit hot for such a small projectile. Readers digest - I pulled it off of the stock and pulled the two screws off of the back plate to get at the hammer adjustment - backed it off a turn and some change and voilà - 854 avg over a 14 shot string. I do still intend on tuning this thing way down but then I just remembered "the golden rule" - clean the barrel on any new gun.

For those of you who have one - the breach on this thing is "tight" - ie; there isn't hardly any room at all to get a patchworm into it. How do you clean your barrels? It appears from some youtube videos that I've seen that it's not that big a deal to just pull the barrel off and then clean it like that. It would be nice (and easier) and more convenient though to just park it on a bench and pull the patchworm patches through w/out having to take it apart - yes?

The cocking lever / mechanism on this thing - WOW - that is really nice. :) :)

You can get a patchworm in the breech without a button, just use a larger patch. This isn't perfect, and I seldom use a patchworm on this rifle, just remove the barrel. With the silencer off, the barrel is then very easy to clean. And since the breech seal O ring remains in the breech block, you don't have it to worry about if you need to use a brush. I have two of these rifles, and neither one has needed very frequent cleaning. I always have a few hex drivers with me at the range, so if I need to clean the barrel, it's easy to remove.

No patch worm here. I use a 3’ length of trimmer line and a standard 1” patch . I cut the trimmer line on an angle on one End to punch a small hole through the patch and I flatten the other end by heating it up with a lighter then flatten it on a flat surface to hold the patch. Simple and cheap.

Yep, I've done the same, and it works well for routine light fouling. But I occasionally have more stubborn fouling, and a good cleaning with rod and brush is needed.
