HW100 Carbine In .22?

I have one, a laminate carbine, mine is .177, but I've had it in .22 also, love them both. Understand, like many European air guns, the HW100 platform was designed around sub 12 fpe. So, at FAC level, the shot count is modest. I needed a yard rifle, so I tuned my .177 down to app 11.5 fpe, and it's perfect. I get 80+ shots on reg, great accuracy, and deadly on squirrels out to my maximum yard range of around 35 yards.
At full power, around 30 fpe in .22, you should expect 30-35 shots on reg. These are great rifles, but they really shine at the lower power levels. With a .22, tuning it down to sub 12 fpe would result in very low velocity and a steep trajectory. My suggestion, if you are not satisfied with that shot count, consider a .177, which retains a very friendly trajectory at the lower power tune.
If you are committed to the typical US more-power- the-better mentality, then another platform might better serve you.

I just received mine yesterday from AoA. I was surprised that it came with the 175cc tube.

Mine arrived shooting around 25.5 fpe with 18.1gr FX & AA(JSB), and I tweaked it up to 27 fpe just to have it shooting over 800 fps. I am getting 28-30 shots per fill.

Side note: The FX and AA 18.1 gr pellets look exactly the same, even up inside the skirt. They shoot to the exact POI. The AAs are at least 4 years old, and I just received the FX.
