HW/Weihrauch HW100 T .22 Air Cylinder/Barrel Band orientation

Finally got my rifle back from AOA yesterday. It passed visual inspection and the barrel band to air cylinder alignment is now correct.
Scope has been mounted and all that remains now is to test it out. Will report back when I've had a chance to zero the scope and chronograph it.
Per AOA testing, the rifle was detuned to about 39 Joules from 50 resulting in 29ft lb strings with 18.1 JSBs.

I have an HW100 .22 Laminate Carbine. Ed (elh) tuned this gun with me a few months back, and the maximum HST adjustment for the 18.1 was about 885-890 FPS. So, we adjusted HST to about 850 FPS ( 95-97% ) for a balanced tune while taking the reg down to approximately 115 BAR.

AoA has your rifle set up at about 850 FPS ( 29 FPE) with their recent adjustments and the 18.1g. Mine shot very well and accurately at 850 FPS, but I was playing around yesterday and dialed down the HST to 760 FPS with the 18.1 and it shot three solid 30Y 5-shot tight groups at 760 FPS or 23 FPE.

Honestly, I have played with the HST a lot with the reg remaining at 115 BAR, and cannot see much accuracy difference at 30 Y with anything from 760- 850 FPS ranges.

Please post your results with pics. Following….

Agree, also found best accuracy @ 760-780 w 18.13gr. However, swapped the 600mm barrel for a 410mm one.

I shot some groups today at 30Y, at my outdoor range. Wind was 3-5 mph, had one near flag out just to check direction.

All of these were primarily 5-shot groups at 30 yards, with the JSB 18.1 pellets.

As mentioned previously, I think I saved some of my previous 30 yard groups when the rifle was @ 850 FPS. But, as I recall, there was not much difference at 30 yards. Said another way, the squirrels will be DRT with any of these groups out to 30-40 yards; contingent on careful shot placement. :)
