I just received my Hw30, the first air rifle I have had since I was a kid. I have read that it was a quality rifle, but wow is it ever the metal work is flawless, and the wood is nice as well. I don't have a cleaning rod or pull-through, so I will have to think of something. Anyway, I am really happy with my purchase. Thank you for all the advice I have received...It also has the older styled stock, which I like better than the newer ones...

Im cheap I use a piece of 30# fishing line for a pull through and I cut down larger cleaning patches for my small bores.

A strong nylon harness /carpet type thread is what i use as a pull through. I think it's 1.2mm thickness ? ( Not the thin stuff).
Add a tag line for pulling back and forth for a good scrub job if needed ..

Weed wacker line works ok also, just flatten one end and use a sharp utility knife to cut a slit to hold a patch, pull the patch from the breech end not the muzzle end, don't use a petroleum based cleaner or lub to clean the bore, best is Ballistol, if you don't have that use 93% rubbing alcohol.
