HW44 & hand pump

I have a tank for airing up my HW100 and HW44. I was thinking of a manual pump for the pistol for when I travel and don’t want to deal with schleping a scuba tank around.
Ive read that it is like an Olympic event to use a manual pump. I’ve also read that it’s a good option for a pistol.
Any thoughts on this?
How long does it take and how much effort is required. (My body building days are ove)
Also if I go down that path are there any suggestions for a good pump?
Thanks

Yeah, pumping a pistol isn't a big deal. I hand pump all of my pistols (AP16's, Ocelot, etc.)

I normally do 20 or 25 pumps, feel the bottom of the pump tube. If it's cool, keep going. If it's warm (NOT hot), then stop for 10 or 15 minutes, then resume.
Just keep track of the heat at the bottom of the pump tube, "keep it cool".

As you get up in pressure, the pumping will get tougher, and tougher. use your body weight.

Your HW100, you can hand pump it, but it will take a while if you start near 120 bar to get to 200-ish bar. An electric pump or larger air cylinder is better

I've been handpumping my HW44 since I got it. Never an issue. I shoot one ten shot clip then refill to just under 200 bar (20 strokes) then shoot next ten round clip. No big deal.
I have 3 magazines for the 44.
i shoot all 3 with no noticeable change in accuracy. The gauge goes into the yellow however. So you guys are saying that the only issue is that it would ne to be filled incrementally while monitoring the heat.
Got it 👍
