HW/Weihrauch HW44 Scope??

Researching for the right scope for an HW44.
This will be my first air pistol.
I have an HW100 with a Hawke scope that I’m very happy with. The HW100 is a pretty heavy but the weight isn’t as critical as it will be on a pistol.
Any input on this would be appreciated.
It will be strictly for target and plinking.
Unsure if I’m going to order the .177 or 22, but if don’t that effects scope choices.
BTW, what’s up with the side wheel on some scopes?

As I said in your other post, the Bug busters will focus down to 3 meters if that is a factor for you. They are light weight for a pistol, but eye relief is pretty tight - it's not a dedicated pistol scope. The side wheel helps with parallax setting as you can adjust finer. I use the 3-12 power version which has side focus for the wheel. You don't need the wheel unless you have trouble focusing the parallax.

Here's some long eye relief pistol scopes that have a fairly low parallax adjustment. If you are shooting it at only close ranges, seriously consider the red dot also.

Thank you sir
I very much appreciate your input on this thread. I’m not very knowledgeable on optics so I posted again fishing for more suggestions.
I love the Hawke scope on my HW100 and was actually hoping someone would chime in with a Hawke suggestion for an HW44.
