I can see that! Heard they look good in real life.Being a vintage Weihrauch guy I think this is an abomination. I've looked at it multiple times and can't see the beauty. Please don't flame me but I think this is going in the wrong direction. Not sure I understand why we aren't demanding the Gary Goudy inspired stocks on Weihrauch's since they were not only complimentary but also functional. Is it too much to ask that we go retro for the sake of function? My God I'm getting old

We are getting old. My personal taste I rather have walnut. Maybe try to attract younger shooters with laminated colors

I know a lot of us don’t like the look of the rear cut-out. Initially I didn’t either, but then I tried one & it works really well with w/ a bag. After that my perspective changed & all almost all older weihrauchs stocks look ugly to me now.

YUCK! BUTTUGLY . Matter of fact i have seen some "55 gallon barrel full of Buttugly" that looked a lot better than that.

Like laminate stocks and own a very nice one but sorry Weihrauch, someone needs their eyes checked for deciding that eyesore was a good color for an anniversary rifle.

Better question, what would you have preferred? But be realistic, as weihrauch isn’t exactly Daystate when it comes to releasing Limited Editions.

How about a 125th anniversary model, limited edition, Walnut stocked, hand checkered, HW55. Go big or go home! And without the Chinese script!
