HW50S (Journey) - Krale! Dang You!

I'm assuming you meant HW50 not HW30...
No I meant Hw30. The discussion about galling started about the Hw50 and then included the Hw30 as a similar design and situation. The galling on the newer 50 has been fixed by Weihrauch. Then IIRC someone asked about the galling on the 30 that still has that problem. I'm wrong in that I thought you were that person.

Well Krale emphatically states they have not received payment. I know for a fact they have because it’s confirmed bank to bank on my end. Looks like I’m going nowhere with them….going to have to order from Pyramid or Arizona. To say I’m unhappy puts it lightly. All my goodies are here but the rifle…I have sent screen shots of all my transaction history with them, and shown them where it is CONFIRMED that the IBAN / BAC they provided has received payment.

I have used my credit card to buy 3 rifles from them and they all arrived in three days. I also had to send a picture of an ID before they would ship each gun. Would it be possible to cancel the payment and reorder with a card? I am not familiar with IBAN/BAC.

Hmmm…that’s frustrating I’m sure! My 50 came from Krale in 3 days with zero issues. I got to spend some time with it tonight.

Well new order made with a CONUS supplier. I’m going to begin a whole new thread when that comes. This one has seriously de-railed.

Money comes money goes. That’s why we work. I’m not going to go further into the Krale discussion. I have zero hope that a rifle will arrive from them. And if it does, well it’ll be posted for sale. Whatever, no since in getting bogged down in “drama”.

All is well that ends well, at least that’s what I’m telling myself! 😂

Hmmmmm having two would have its perks for exactly what you say…I love peeps. The only rifle I have scoped is my .375 H&H Magnum and it’s only a 1-4x. I’ve shot long range and precision rimfire, I just really like irons! Especially peeps. But to have one scoped as well would be tempting…

Look, let’s just the one show up! 😂

Wow, I've lately become a big fan of the 375 H&H. Not in person but I wish. I've seen it on YT and read a little. Is that a Dangerous Game setup with the LPVO?
It is a traditional DG set-up. I have to tell you, the recoil isn’t what everyone cracks it up to be either. At least in a gun that’s well suited for the chambering. Mine is in a Ruger No. 1. More of a big push than a sharp crack in the shoulder. Shooting from the bench in a T-Shirt is fine for me. I am 5’10” 170#.

I also have a Ruger #1 in 375 H&H, I gu ess at my height, 6'1" it it a little too short for me so kicks hard. I put a standard type scope one it and was dodging the ocular lens, cured that by changing to a low power scout scope. I have a big CZ 550 Safari American, same caliber that is a perfect fit. It seems to recoil milder than a smaller 30-06 bolt action Winchester.
