HW50s & Rowan Engineering

I just added a Rowan Engineering straight brass trigger and brass trigger guard to my HW50s. Overall it's a pretty straight forward job with only the one trigger pin needing to be removed from the trigger housing group. Looks great and I love the straight trigger. I'll fine tune the setting on the weekend.

Nice HW50! It reminds me of a classic smallbore sporter target rifle (52D, 513T, etc.).

Looks great! Never did try a different trigger. Please keep us informed on how it feels/performs. Looks like that sweet 50 is dressing up for the “Walnut Prom”!

Just tap out the pin. The only spring to watch for is under the adjustment screw.

Sounds good, have you tried the set-back triggers? Less trigger movement, providing a little more control. I have less expensive TR Robb triggers on my HW 80, R9 and R10's.
While the TR Robb's are cheaper, much more work is involved to get them fitted properly.

I haven't tried those yet. This is my first trigger from Rowan.
