HW/Weihrauch HW75 fiber optic sight

Anyone know where to buy a fiber optic front sight for a HW75 or 45?
I found a rear sight but no front yet.

the sights on the HW pistols are cast into the cocking handle
the HW45 comes with fiber optics but the cocking handles for the 45 and 75 do not interchange
so you are dead in the water

The front sight on my HW75 attaches via a screw…..it’s not cast in…..totally a separate piece.
Not sure on a HW45 as I don’t have that pistol yet.
I assumed they were the same on each pistol as the rear sights are the same.

i would like to see a picture of that
there is no removable front sight in any pictures and or older pistols or parts diagrams
the age of your pistol and a picture
so, if this is a very resent change to the pistol at the factory parts would not be available for a long time

Gun is 6 months old

and it was new from the factory if they have changed the front sight that has been used from the very start

so, if you took the sight off does it show bare metal or gun finish

Not sure what you’re eluding to but when I take off the front sight the finish under the sight is the same as the rest of the gun.
I bought it new….it has not been tampered with.
Hmmmm….maybe you missed something

I’d still like a fiber optic insert…..may have to use paint

you see the factory would mill the slot for the front sight before coating the part so what you have is a new version of the pistol but you are in the same spot parts can't be found unless the parts diagrams get updated and then it could be a long time for the part to shows up
i am afraid you wants are going to be solve

i moved your question over to a UK forum and got an answer today that i member there just got a new HW75 and the front sight was the same
so, in conclusion Weihrauch has changed the front sight on the HW75 for the better and i would guess at some point the HW45 will be changed
now anyone buying a new HW75 it would be wise to find out if you are getting old or new style front sight

The HW75 sights have never been fibre optic as it was intended as a semi match target pistol.
As a pistol marksman (with purist bias) I can state that the traditional sight is more precise. I have proved it time after time.....providing prevailing light is adequate. For poor light the fibre optic will obviously start to take over but for me the pistol remains an adequate lighting arm.
Thw regular sights of the 75 are preferred to the fibre optics of the 45 for target shooting.

The top strap of the 75 seems to have gone through a number of incarnations, incl a short lived micro red dot dovetail section and piston rod diameter differences.
I can confirm, an interchangeable system has been added for the 75, presumably to fit with semi match regulations on sight widths.

now you have something to work with go on Ebay and look for a Fiber optic sight that could fit with or without reworking
you were looking for a fiber optic sight but i was looking to understand if Weihrauch had changed the front sights
you could still find what you are looking for but the overall height will be key

I meant confirm from manufacturer and not a pic on here which could of been a modification by a tuning house or one off...potentially.
MAG airguns had a batch in which arrived this way direct from the manufacturer.
It must be a very latest spec change as they still have a one year old shop soiled display model which does not have it.
For additional info, the short production run with the micro red dot dovetail to the rear of the main dovetail has since been dropped due to an issue....See Airghandi for a review of it but apparently now dropped.
Tiny production run..
