I got my HW 77 back in action after the spring broke. Bought a Vortec kit and tuned it myself,
Not sure if I could do any better with any of my scopes,Iron sights!! Not too shabby. Would love to see a scoped group
Mayby, maybe not? But the thing is you see you dont really need optics or plat the springer scope chase or the cost of that.. also unscooed the gun holdd up and lasts longer / may see higher shot counts on a spring , i dont need to slop on the loctite to keep screws in the gun, ect.. it's now rare if and all i scope mine. Of course there good open sight shooters to start with. Then eay back the lesson was never buy a gun that is a scope only set up/ one that dont have sights on it .. then even if you scoped it and it goes bad ,well you got a gun you can still shoot and enjoy without one.. (opinion). Not sure if I could do any better with any of my scopes,
Yeah buddy! My 57 year old eyes can't do that anymore.50 yards....iron sights....pretty good shooting.
Mine are 65, but like I said the new lenses helped a bunchYeah buddy! My 57 year old eyes can't do that anymore.
My problem is that I use "cheaters" to see up close, but beyond about a foot or so, I don't need glasses. I can still read a 20/20 line on an eye chart, but man does that rear sight look fuzzy!Mine are 65, but like I said the new lenses helped a bunch
I bought my 25mm 97 in 1998 and shot it stock until 2015. I put a Vortek kit in it and it remains the most accurate air rifle I own. I beleive my TX 200 will probably keep up with it, just not in my hands. Good shooting!CFI got my HW 77 back in action after the spring broke.
