HW/Weihrauch HW80SL w/ Benjamin 10.5gr

My Benjamin 10.5s showed up today so I thought my 80 would be a good choice to test them out of. TLDR: I like them and look forward to seeing how they shoot in easier to shoot pellet pooters.

They feel very consistent when loading them unlike the CPs which was a great start. I have NOT weighed them yet but based on the chrono results I'm betting they're pretty consistent. Out of 35 shots I had 2 fliers, one of which was definitely me and the second one I'm not sure. Probably me though. The first flier I just threw away and re shot it in fairness to testing the pellets and not myself. Anyway here is some 30yd groups and some chrono numbers.

Attempt #2 (all 10 shot groups this time). First groups/picture was with Baracuda Match 10.65 for comparison. The left side group was shot from a front bag only, same as the Benjamin pellets. The group was a little wonky so I switched to front bag only, hand between the stock and bag. Hmmmmm. Big improvement there. I'm going to come back to the artillery hold with these pellets at a later date. From memory these pellets were doing well with a rear squeeze bag too so much more testing needs to happen. Notes would probably help too...

My next picture is continuing back with the Benjamin pellets. The first 2 groups were a hand under the fore stock, artillery style and I did change my POA for group #2. They were far from great but a lot of that was me. The 3rd and final group was back to normal front back with support hand on my shoulder and under the butt stock. I'm not going to argue it. These pellets shoot great without a full blown artillery hold.

While the comparison seems to show the two pellets are pretty closely matched in MY gun, I feel like the Benjamins are a pretty cut and dry winner. I need to work on my holds a bit with this gun but I think at the end of the day I can't go wrong using the 10.5s.
