Put a Vortek spring and piston seal a few weeks ago in my 85 .22. Just shot it again today. 
I really liked this gun before the change. It’s a keeper. Crow

I can’t give you an accurate account. But it sure is a lot easier to Jack. I’m sure it can do anything you’re capable of. Love the 85’s. Wish I could score one in .20. Crow

I wondered the same thing on barrel length. When I ordered my 20 cal Carbine I was thinking it would be better accuracy wise than a longer barrel just because of less time for movement. But I could not tell any difference in comparing my other springers to the carbine. I'm not sold on the 20 cal. It is not much larger that .177, and pellet selections are not what they once was. I may post mine this winter along with a Beeman Kodiac in 25 cal. Just don't use them.
