HW/Weihrauch HW90 Locking up

Recently acquired early series HW90! During the cocking cycle when RETURNING barrel into closed position it jams on the return. Check the stock screws, no interference, seems to be the chamber and the bottom of the breach block rubbing and locking up

Anyone else have this occur and know solution please

No expert but I'll take a stab at this ..

First looks like a older gun so maybe look at the cocking arm gliding piece
( Just its name kinda clues ya in ..lol)

Sold separately as well

Next I'd look at the cocking shoe..

The old shoes get worn in the tube slot and become I'll fitting and can bind and scrape ..

Old .

New ( now.. don't know how straight forward swapping out or what extra involved with the gas ran gun ) .p.s. Old style can be hard to get or a no longer available item as well ..

I love my used HW90 .25. It is an "anti buying more self contained airguns agent", because every time I look at, become fascinated, by air rifles, I say to myself, heck the HW90 CAN DO THAT BETTER LOL.
Did you fix your barrel lock up? If not, you could get it out of the stock first. Then start by checking lock up wedge function. Then adjust barrel free drop as TBT demonstrates for weihrauch springers about 4:48 in at https://airguncalculator.com/
I would not be grinding on OEM parts because many many units are in wild and factory parts has proven to be high quality.

Mine is a 2021 or 2020 product using Weihrauch's serial number driven online database
Beyond power adjustability, the trigger, the barrel, the longevity in Weihrauch's line and the many users who have posted online over the last 2 decades, rebuild-ability, ease of disassembly/reassembly, and parts availability, no flyers from my unit [running 19.xx and 20.09grains to start], I 'm sold on it.

Agree 100% Absolutely love my 90 despite have a number of high quality springers ! Think its the lineage to Theoben but really love the fact that its a fully contained gun never needing a spring . Mine is super accurate too and really dont get some of the negative reviews I've seen . The link you provided is a calculator Can you resnd the correct link Many Thanks
