N/A HW95 .20

I have owned this HW 95 in .20 for a little while now and have run a couple tins of H&Ns through it. It has smoothed out nicely, cocks smooth. fires soft and quiet, very accurate too. Today I shot it over the chronograph just to see what the fps was. Out of 10 rounds (11.42gr) its average velocity is 736fps=13.74ft/lbs. How's that look to you fellas? seem right? if I recall correctly, it was a little hotter new.
Thanks
I shot mine this evening. 👍

seem to be in the same ballpark what gr. pellets are you shooting
Sorry I didn't realize I missed that..
JSB, 13.73 a 75 yrds.
My rifles story is this;
It arrived dry of lube. Nothing like my other HWs, I greased it, and it was only good for another 200 rounds, so I sent it back under warranty. Shane, deburrd it and polished the piston, and it has been as smooth as glass since I got it back.

That's exactly where they should shoot 13.73s
I know one thing, it was accurate when the wind laid down.
I had a little trouble with the Crazy Eights as they were tangled up in downed branches from the storm. I wound up shooting the little paddles in the Marksman trap.

I could shoot pretty quick through four paddles, (quarter size) but It would take a bunch of shots to hit the release.(dime size) @75y.

could you fill with silver solder and polish smooth ?
No. The tube has to be a reasonably concentric cylinder to seal properly. That tube and any others like it are trash. I've seen lots of weld seems the last couple of years in 26mm tube Weihrauchs. They range from the welds being just a hint of discoloration to that one. Some guns will will be fine. Some will just under perform and diesel a bit more. Others will do more of that and go through piston seals quickly.

The tube pictured in my post above is junk IMO. In most cases the average consumer doesn't own a chronograph won't know there's a problem until it's performance drops significantly. Most cases it happens so slowly they don't notice at all. I've talked about this here before and been ignored or discounted.

I want to click a like, but that last statement gives me pause. 👍

If Weihrauch is going to charge what they charge, they shouldn't have defective parts in their guns.
Weihrauch has all the tools necessary to make the sleeves perfect, including cutting and polishing, the welds.

I hope AoA is ok covering all Weihrauchs warranty work. I'm close to the point of having Shane go through one or maybe add a kit to it prior to shipping.
