HW/Weihrauch HW95K adjustable

I have spring from a new never shot HW95 you can have for free. Just cover the shipping and it’s yours.

And you are right. HWs are known for having bad springs in the HW95s. Maybe other models as well. But I don’t know.
Either way they need to fix that issue. Period.

My HW70 has eaten it's third factory spring in less than 2k pellets. The HW95's are rookies compared to my pistol.

I've said that about why not a lighter more affordable maybe a better shouldering for irons / adult sized synthetic / blackline addition 95 ..lol

Some reason they think making more silly unaffordable models will make me buy ? ..lol go figure.. lol no . I'll pass

I'm s not like there able to make the original ones fast enough to keep in stock without preorder.. yet can make this $$$ cr@p ? Einstein

You took the words right out of my mouth. That is very unsanitary and we should both get tested...

I'm with you all the way. The HW rifles are sweet as he!! and I love them. But give me a working gun with a quality synthetic stock and a decent spring/guide/seal I can expect 10k shots from!

I intend to shoot a pellet gun. Not take pictures of it. Give me one I can shoot the he!! out of and still love it.

I'm shooting a cometa 400 gas ram these days. Synthetic stock. The darn thing will out shoot the HW95 and is half the price. I'll look at HW again when they can offer me something more practical. For now I have plenty of them awaiting spring replacement.

Thanks for the gracious offer!

I'll order a kit for it and quit griping about it. I'm busy spending time with my new Spanish girlfriend Rosita Conchita Alvarez. When the dew is off the pumpkins I'll fix ol' Helga and give her another go-round.

I like the way it looks. I find high comb and adjustable comb stocks kind of counter productive on springers. The last thing I want is a solid cheek weld on a springer. It transmits vibration directly into my face and creates another pressure point to try to regulate. I see more value in adjustable butt plates.

I raise the plate on my 98 while the comb is kept low.

I wonder how a HW95 would be at 12 fpe? Hmmm...
Mine shoots very good at this power

Thats the sweet spot for 95. 15 ft lbs. I’ve leaned on them for more ,for a harsher shot cycle.
David,I’m sure you know how accurate it is.. What many don’t factor is is down range accuracy,
the Extra 40 to 50 fps isn’t going to change the impact enough to loose accuracy. Give me a 750 ft ps gun sighted in at 25 yards it’s good to 40 with no hold over.

It’s amazingly accurate.

Ordered my 95N with the Vortek 12ft-lb kit installed, so never fired one with factory horsepower. I debated between the HW30 and a detuned 95N, and decided going with the larger platform with reduced power made more sense for my body type and intended use of target/plinking inside of 30yds. Thrilled with the outcome. I would not want a drop more power in this package, and it still holds its own out to 50yds when called upon. For me it comes down to selecting the right tool for the job, and if I want more power I grab a different rifle.

Just to keep on original topic, my $.02 is that adjustable cheek pieces ruin the lines and look of a stock, and generally match or increase the profile of a comparable non-adjustable. I would like the same or reduced, so 100% pointless feature for me.

With iron sights the standard HW95 stock is pretty high. I can get behind the rear sight but barely. With a 32-40mm objective scope the cheek weld is just about perfect (for me).

Some guys need the stock a little lower for iron sights.

If this new adjustable stock was a little lower when fully collapsed it may be an attractive feature for some guys using irons. It would definitely be an advantage when using a large diameter scope.

I use a Bradley adjustable cheekpiece on all my rifles that need extra height. They aren't cheap. And for guys focused on how their rifle "looks" they may not like them. The adjustable cheekpiece may suit them better.

My Ha+$an has a slick adjustable factory cheekpiece on a walnut thumbhole stock. It is really handy with a scope. It's black plastic and again this may turn some guys off. It works great though.

A Bradley cheek rest is about $125 . If you need more height it's an extra cost. The adjustable stocks sidestep all that.

The complete Ha+$an rifle with the adjustable thumbhole stock costs just a few bucks more than the Bradley cheek rest alone. If the new HW stock is not an extra cost it's probably a good value for some guys. But if it makes the HW95 even more expensive it's probably not something that would appeal to many shooters.
