Well the Beeman R-9 comes with the Air Ventari life time warranty (original owner).I bought 1 from Flying Dragons-Mike Melick a couple weeks ago(22 cal) $450. They r nice, no doubt about it. There's no BOING spring noise, lol. Really Really smooth out of the box.And Steve of AOAC once described the way a rifle cocked with a word,,shhnick !! I think that applies with this rifle too. Steve of AOAC had a video out reviewing the R-9 and gets answers concerning the Beeman R-9 and the Weihrauch 95. U should check it out. I've been breaking mine in with some fodder I have on the shelf but it has done well with all 3 H&N FTT(5.3mm / 5.4mm / 5.5mm) Ranges from 25yds to 67yds. Not too pellet fussy. The Rekord trigger makes me look good, lol. It really is a nice air rifle.I like having open sights (and these r nice) as a fall back if I were to have scope failure. But I would really need a set of Williams Peep Sights to be honest. I put a 2 -7 X 32 AirMax Hawke scope on mine.Despite my obsession with practicality over looks I feel I would be more accurate with a larger 3 - 9 X 40 AirMax Hawke since this rifle can effectively, accurately score hits out to 67yds. That's my maximum, comfortable(from my patio) range.
