HW/Weihrauch HW97K cocking arm broken

I wonder if "BN" is a aftermarket part thing .

then theres no actual picture of it ..

They got the picture of a small pin but not the larger arm .. . The pins not a "BN" part i guess

Also dont forget the pin. ... Only one left ..,!!

It at least a pa deal so if not right its a easy return or a xchange
you can re use the pin

Maybe. Maybe not.

Again, it's an interference fit on the cocking arm with peened over ends. Once you drive it out it's loose in the new cocking arm and the peened over ends are ragged. You can make it work, for a while, maybe. A tight new pin with fresh ends is only $5 and insures a good job.
You can 100% reuse the pin it goes in and out a certain direction and is easy to re peen it if desired I am just sharing information that I know to be true from my first hand experience. Don't use it if you don't want to but it is idiotic to argue about it. It sounds like you should probably pay someone to fix it for you.

It's a 5mm roll pin worth five bucks. There is no reason to get personal about it. But since that's where we are at....

I don't pay to have my rifles fixed. Some guy like you will put the old pin back in and call it good. Then the linkage will show slack in it after 2k shots and I'll have to do the job myself to get it done right.

Yes, you can make the old pin work fine. For a while. If that's good enough for you then its simply groovy. Sooner or later it will need to be replaced and you can decide then if it was worth the $5 you saved not replacing it with the new cocking arm.

It's a very common wear part on the HW97. You have to replace them all sooner or later. I guess you can wait as long as you want to do that. If it starts wallowing in the cocking arm (and it will sooner or later) it will enlarge the bore of the cocking arm and you'll be replacing both parts again. It just makes sense to replace them both together if you can.

It's not a tapered pin. It drives out either way. A quick check with the calipers will clear that up for you. A 5mm precision shoulder bolt as recommended is a much better fix and will never need replacement. The pins will every so often.
There is nothing done to a used pin compared to a new one upon insertion, nothing. I'm not saying that one has to use the old pin but if common sense is used the condition of the pin will be obvious. You are right it is not a tapered pin. It does however have different sized ends. One is larger than the other and thus it matters which end goes where, hence why I said common sense. You replace the pin if it is worn out not because it was taken out.
You must work at Jiffy lube.
