I want to thank everyone for their help I think i have it all figured out now. I switched to a Diana mount and switched scopes to a Barra Optics scope. It is incredibly accurate now. I'm about ready to move my targets out to 30/40/50yds because 20yds is too easy now. This forum is awesome, I'm finally getting the results I expected out of the HW97K. The Diana mount will keep my scope from getting trashed and the Barra Optics scope is the clearest scope I have ever used; even at 25X it is as clear as it is at 5X. I also reset the turrets to zero so if it is me at sometime in the future the scope will tell me.
The target below was about 20rds into each sticker. I started shooting out the edges just because the center was gone. The Barra scope is so long I thought getting pellets into the barrel would be a problem, but the Diana mount is high enough that I can easily insert pellets. Its still hard to believe that that thing sliding back and forth and feeling loose does not affect accuracy.
