Any recommendations on best place to get a stock hydro dipped? Not sure in pattern yet but want to get ideas for quality and pricing. Thanks.
Hmm I will look into that. I would much prefer having someone do it that has done it before lol or just pay to send it out and have someone do it.hydro dipping isnt hard to do yourself,
ive done a few guns and bows no problem.
you can get a kit that comes with everything you need for under 70 bucks.
Not really.. I searched quite a few on here. And had read that thread already, Utah doesn’t do it in house as stated and the Houston one is out of business.
Being that it's a plastic cover, it will hold up much better than the hydro-dip. Normal nicks, dings (sliding off a tree onto the ground), don't damage the vinyl surface. It takes a pretty good whack, or sharp edge to do any visible damage to the surface. Even then, it's much less damage than it would be to dipped coatings.Interesting. How do those vinyls hold up? How hard are they to get on and look nice? I got a fx crown
Just do a quick top to bottom and front to rear measurement, there you are. Then add four or five inches to the top to bottom measurement, and two or three inches to the front to rear measurement for safety reasons.@MikeVV awesome I have a nice heat gun and time lol I’ll look into it. Any idea on how much you need for just a stock?
