I am new to PCP, what is the best entry level rifle?
No telling what else in new or improved will pop up just in time for black Friday/ xmas .. then see what referb after newyears ..lolI think to wait for the AirCuda to hit the US shores right now is the best thing to do,....and the Standard would be my choice.
I second this. I have a Marauder and it’s worked flawlessly for me. I’ll be selling it soon I think or maybe I’ll keep my FX wildcat. Haven’t decided yet.My vote is the Benjamin Marauder. I own one and it is extremely impressive for what it cost. I have seen used Marauders sold on this forum for $200. I started with an Umarex Origin and would not recommend that rifle. It was not accurate.

For some reason, as I advanced through the thread, I saw the original post repeating, and didn't realize that it was not the OP repeating the original post. Totally my fault, for which I offer my sincere apology. The man is 78 years of age and a new member. I haven't seen him repeat his original post so maybe give him a break and a little more respect.
He only has 4 posts and here's proof.

This^^^ - Many people getting into PCP do not realize the cost of refilling. Even a small air tank with fill valve is several hundred dollars..and then you have to get the tank filled somewhere (or you can buy a hand pump and then realize quickly how not-so-fun that is : )Don’t forget to budget for the method of refilling the guns air supply if you go the PCP route.
You can get one as low as $240 from PA. There you go!I am new to PCP, what is the best entry level rifle?
Onec or twice times i thought i wish id just went ahead and got this to start cause i got that on the cheaper side and now ill jave itd money + the "better_ money invesyed when i just should of did the buy once cry once thing...I see a lot of posts suggesting less expensive rifles as starters. There is nothing saying you have to start at lower end rifles and work up. If you have budget restraints then sure, but I would suggest starting with the nicest rifle you can afford. In the long run I think that saves you money. My suggestion would be (if it’s within your budget) a good, tough, simple to operate rifle like a Brocock, Edgun, Kalibrgun, Taipan…
