HW/Weihrauch I can't help myself and may succumb to getting a HW100 Bullpup

Ok so I'm weak and after few months after pledging to stay away from PCP's, I want a Hw100 Bullpup carbine. I mostly just want to plink targets. Some from bench, some from walking around in my backyard and woods. If I'm not mistaken the .22 has the same or more shot per fill than the .177?

I don't really need a lot of power as not long range hunting. I'm thinking about 17ft.lbs will be ideal.

Is the Hw100 easy to tune down? So maybe get the .177 and tune it down to 17ft.lbs to get more shots? And also is Airguns of Arizona the only dealer in the USA to purchase one?

Thanks in advance.

The FAC level HW100 in .177 will probably be around18 fpe as delivered. I tuned mine down to around 11 fpe (carbine), and I think I'm getting 80 or so shots on reg. AOA sells the standard carbine (K model) with the rifle cylinder, so that helps with shot count.
Ok so it can be tuned down. I may just do that. 60 or so shots seems fine. thanks

the HW100 bull pup is a very fine rifle, I have it in the long version .22 cal, there are several members here that have the Carbine version in .177, they say it is laser accurate and easy to wield, so far AoA is the only place that I know of that has the Bullpup version, they are great guys and if you call them you can work out a better deal than on the website, I did and got a great deal on mine, you can also 3D print magazines..... good luck and happy pelleting

thanks for the info! I didn't realize calling for possible better price was an option. I'll have to do that.

The actual, unmodified, "bullpup" Carbine (original K model I think) -
The Huma M30, muffler replaced the Weihrauch version.

The longer, barrel version, that I cut to make it into a real bullpup !
I bought this one because I like the "left side" cocking lever better. Again with the Huma, M40 muffler.

Bought the Carbine a few years ago, and the (cut off) long barrel version (above) about 1-1/2 years back.
