I didn't pull the trigger,,,,,, I jerked it all the way back!

After months of research, several straight days and evenings reading past threads I finally made my choice.
My wife would walk by and see what was on the screen, then tell her Mom I was looking at "air gun stuff" again. Gotta love her.

Anyway, I called AoA today and spoke with "Darrin". Great guy. I told him my situation and what I wanted to do. He not only helped me with what I wanted, he got me
everything I needed.

So now, I am Ralphie. Waiting with baited breath for my new air gun.

I purchased the Daystate Revere regulated .22cal. I got the,"We The Plinkers", package. Seemed the prudent thing to do since I am starting from scratch.
A couple thousand JSB exact Heavy .22 pellets in 18.3 grains.
Omega 75 cu Patriot w\standard valve and hose with QC's.
Primal Gun Gear tank tote.
Darrin said he would go back and find me nice dark walnut stock, nothing blonde.
I believe I am ready to begin.
Just want to say thanks to all who answered my newbie questions thus far.
I will post pictures when it arrives and an update on how it shoots.
Thanks again

Grats on your first dive into an empty bank account! I purchased the huntsman regal a few years back from them. I'd recommend buying a tin of the JSB 15.89 gr as well and not being afraid to test a half dozen or so other pellets out. I don't know about the revere but the previous huntsman models seem to prefer the 15.89 gr ever so slightly. Every now and then someone will bring up how their barrel shoots xyz better than anything else which is why I suggest getting a variety of pellets to test at first.

Are you not going to quite the gun with a moderator or am I missing something

I'll second the recommendation to try the 16 g pellet. My Revere shoots both well, but the 16 is around 880 fps, and I believe the 18 is around 860. There's nothing wrong with the lower velocity, but since they shoot essentially the same in my rifle, I figure I'll take advantage of the slightly flatter trajectory of the lighter pellet. I also have an inventory of them, and I don't shoot them in any other rifle, so it's convenient. It's a great rifle, enjoy.

You hit the Easy Button of pcp airgunning, & I mean that in a good way. Very, very little chance you'll be disappointed. Have had several examples of the Huntsman line over the years, & now a Wolverine (pretty much a Huntsman wearing a different stock & a bottle instead of a tube). They just work.

If by chance you get the rare one that springs a leak before it should, AOA will fix it without fussing.

I got that exact same package in October or November. It is one sweet rifle. In December I got the Daystate Wolverine in .22, I was shooting both yesterday. I was shooting the Wolverine first and then the Huntsman Revere, man, both guns are incredible but like all the reviews say, the cocking on the Revere is incredible. It is super smooth. You would think the Daystates would all be the same but nope, Revere rocks.
P.S. I think you will be happy with rifle and all the accessories you bought.

Thanks folks.
This will be my first forray into PCP's.
My intentions are to learn how these work for a few months. Then, about mid-summer I intend to purchase a large bore
to hunt with. Hopefully I will have enough experience to make an informed decision regarding the large bore.

Due to recency bias, I doubt the Korean big bores will come up in your search much. Make sure to give them a look!
