HW Bush almost was captured by the Japanese on a neighboring island to Iwo during WW2. The Japanese officers were killing and eating some of our men they had captured.Upvote 0

I had deep fried crickets in Thailand. It was a unique experience. They served them up in a newspaper cone with enough chilli sauce to melt concrete. Like all their other food.

Back when I was working IT, when someone would come into my office and say "Can I ask you a question" instead of just asking me what they want to know, I'd jokingly require them to eat a cricket. They really weren't so bad, but i cant imagine eating one that big. The worst part was the legs (not taste, but just feeling). The worms were not good at all.

Horse meat is in a lot of countries i understand , not in USA for some reason ? and i am sure there is a law about hunting with an air gun ,So are humans, but we don't eat those either
