Crosman I guess im a pistolero now

Not much of a pistol guy, unless they're converted to carbine lol.

I had a bunch of parts laying around and decided to come up with this.

Pcp, running 550 fps on a 2000 psi fill and current spring. Have some better springs coming for it, hopefully break into the 600s with this 10" barrel. I've seen north of 20 fpe with this barrel, so shouldn't be too hard to achieve my goals.

Getting plenty of shots off the 100cc tube, and pretty quiet thanks to the shortened Prod shroud and air stripper. No baffles needed for now.

Trigger could be better since it's a single stage, but it's as light as I can get it. Maybe put a Prod trigger group on it some day if it proves worthy.

Drilled and tapped the breech for the metal iron sights I stole of a gun I can't even remember, as well as the front sight tapped to the shroud.

So far I'm holding quarter sized groups at 20 feet, so hopefully I will achieve my goal of squirrel hunting soon.

Maybe a nice set of zebrawood target grips to finish off? Need to repaint the grip frame too.

That's pretty bad ass
Appreciate that! I'm digging it. Little more front heavy than I needed. I definitely need front weight to control the wiggle, but now it's pulling me down after awhile.

I think a set of wide shelf target grips with a weighted palm swell will even it out nicely.

Looks like I've gotta take up wood working!

Almost looks like you could fab an fx dreamline bottle adapter/ reg and slap on the 170cc 250bar tube

As is it looks great.

I have another tube that's 200cc but it's twice as long though. This will most likely stay as a pistol. I will try to resist the urge to carbine-ize it.

not 600 ? toss it back to parts bin ! HAHAHA nice build ! i like it ! What is the frame / starting point ?
Agreed on sparrows it's a well established phenomenon that anything of any caliber under 600.00 will just bounce off. 599.99 might as be a foam nerf ball. Toss it

I have a 67cc regulated notos tube. M16x1 maybe that could work? Keeping it in pistol form?
The drop block has an m18x1.5 male thread. Good to know the notos thread size though. I've almost bought a tube off the classifieds a couple times when they pop up.

Sorry. Just spit balling. Now I want to make one. I like the artillery luger look and the form factor that's a perfect drive by Pesting gun

New guy with new guy questions

What tube was cut to fit what drop block?

What are a Prod and an air stripper?

Is an air stripper less trouble than a human stripper?
The main air tube from the original crosman 2240, where the valve and co2 cartridge goes, was cut down to allow the new valve which is attached to the drop down block/tube to line up with the air transfer port for the barrel.

I then sleeved over that with some carbon fiber to get the height level between the 2 halves.

An air stripper is a part in front of the muzzle that vents some of the blast into the shroud to help make it quieter.

And human strippers are only a problem if the other half finds out about them, or you don't pay for the lap dance.

Thanks! What is a Prod?
