This is for all the bolt action pistole and rifle owners. I've been thinking about this since I got my Diana Chaser pistole about 2 months ago.
Here is my theory on how to increase power. Put the bolt tip into a pellet, you can see how much room the bolt pin takes up. Now if you can use the bolt to push the pellet in into place then back off on the bolt just a little, it would allow more air into the skirt of the pellet which in turn would give the pellet more power.
What do you think ? I think this would only work with guns that seal the bolt with an O ring in the barrel. On the Chaser, after the pellet is seated in place, the bolt can be moved back about 1/8th of an inch before it goes past the O ring seal. What do you think ? would that extra 1/8th" extra space in the pellet skirt to make a significant difference ?
