I keep flip flopping on rifle choice

Many of the suggestions sounded great except a lot were out of my price range or out of stock, at least were i looked.

Still not 100% sure but the Brocock seems to meet most of my requirements and is in my price range.

Congrats! I considered that rifle myself. I ended up buying an FX Maverick from a member here as my first air rifle.

FX Wildcat is a great all around quality air rifle. Mostly simple to tune and maintain.

Congrats on the Brocock. I have 3, a Concept XR in 22, Commander XR in 22 and a Sniper Mag XR in 25 and all are great shooting guns. The build quality is great and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I’m looking at the AEA hp ss plus at the moment myself. I’d personally rather save a bunch of cash for upgrades and thing of that nature and get something like that if you’re just looking to do some backyard plinking and varmint control. Plus you’ll have the added bonus of semi automatic which for plinking purposes is a blast!
