I have followed the thread in November 22, At which time Michael cut it off on the 11th. It was only speculation. Nobody either did not know or would not speak. Since that time Donny was shut down, he has since reopened and his website is now turned back on, but he is no longer selling moderators on his website nor is any other dealer in the US selling them, but I also noticed that Krale in Holland is still selling his full line. What is going on?
I know curiosity killed the cat, but "what is the rest of the DonnyFL story?

Since I just bought a DFL Emperor yesterday I would have to say that the statement that no vendors are selling them is incorrect. I do expect that once they are all sold then the statement will stand.
yeah, im sure everyone is laying low whilst theres ongoing legal proceedings .. id say ultimately the airgun question will be resolved favorably to airgunners BUT, these kindof things are devastating financially to the market, and moving forward it makes peiple nervous of getting entangled again in expensive legal proceedings .. in short, the 'sale' of said items likely has a very grim future .. all speculation of course
Yup, the power of one. People are waiting for one reason to pass more laws or stretch the laws already on the books to get their way. Even a proven fake staged event is good enough for Congress to pass new laws today.

My initial response to your short comment was anger, but quickly then realized that your comment was based on ignorance. So, for your edification, a very large amount of the current law making American government are agencies and bureaus made up of un-elected individuals. The only way possible to reign in this hidden government is the light of day, not blind secrecy.

I agree with your last sentence. Once you are no longer flying under the radar and are exposed, tactics have to change. But on the flip side we have to look at the attention spans of modern America. If things go silent and nothing is newsworthy, it is possible for it to go away.

Exactly what I was meaning by saying the 3 letter guys make up laws that circumvent the process of creating said laws. Then a couple years go by before it gets taken to court and thrown out. During that time they destroy plenty of people's lives and after the fact, oh well, those guys can rot in federal prison. We allowed them to grow into the giant organizations they have become and nothing can be done about it now.

Normally I take offense to people who refer to me as ignorant or being ignorant, but assume you missed the fact I was being very sarcastic.
To clarify my friend, you and I are of the same mind and on the same side. The industry imposed gag order on the situation disgusts me. Whatever the issue is, it is NOT a national security issue and therefore not worthy of this charade.
I know there are some well meaning people, and a fair number, who believe our posture should be silence and a low profile. They believe that if we all just shut up and stay in the shadows, the wolf will pass us by. They are/were wrong. Choose your own tense, either is applicable.
The situation being discussed lays bare the fact the wolf is already in the barnyard and the roof is off the hen house. Silence has failed and secrecy will fare even worse.
