Hello everyone, Richfromohio here just wanted to share something. I have been working on springers for about 40 years. I am no expert just enjoy tinkering. Here is what I got, I routinely lube my magnum springers and have seemed to forget one crucial point. The pivot point at the bottom of the breech that is connected to the cocking arm. My tuned hatsan 135 in 30 cal was not letting the trigger sear engauge to the piston. This was happening very sporadically and finally I had it . So everyone here is the lesson I learned the hard way . Look closely at the pin that was in the breech through the cocking arm. Look at holes in the cocking arm see how they are out of round. Hopefully all of you will learn from my good time experiences finding this ,that took about 2 hours. By the way I enjoyed reading the magnum thread and would like to say that with some work I got a my magnum 135 in 30 caliber shooting a 50.15 gr jsb over 600 FPS. I am not bragging just want people to know those hatsan's can be tuned to do some crazy things.
