Tuning I need help with my Hammerli 850

Hello to everyone in the airgun nation forum.

I'm somewhat dumb, I left my hammerli 850 on the roof of my house, I forgot it on there for some hours under the sun when I remembered that I left it there, went back to retrieve it but the valve was completely locked. I left it in a cold room and waited for it to cool down, but it was there for 2 days and the valve was still completely locked in the 3rd day I wen back to check it and the gas had completely leaked. I went back up to my room and screwed a new 88gr Co2 cartridge and it leaked like crazy. I got desperate and disassembled the gun and I tried to unscrew the back of the valve and I couldn't, so I got really angry and heated it with a propane torch and finally opened the valve, the problem is that the O ring completely melted and I don't know the measurements of it does any one of you know them and the material composition of the O ring?

I tried to contact Umrex for a replacement valve but they don't have representation in Mexico. I also contacted baker airguns but they didn't had it (the O ring).

I want to turn my Hammerli into a PCP but currently it is dead.

The seller in the first ebay link doesn't ship parcels to Mexico.

I bought the O ring kit from the second seller (O ring everything) earlier today hopefully it includes that O ring, hopefully it arrives with out delay due to this horrible pandemic.

I contacted Umarexusa twice but never got a single reply from them.

I have these 2 adapters but I'm not sure which one to use. the silver aluminium one I bought it from aliexpress and the second one (brass) I bought it from baker Airguns.

The Baker Airguns one is awesome and it is top notch quality but it needs the piercing needle from the valve to be activated.

The Silver aluminum one is supposedly rated up to 1800psi and it can be used with out the piercing needle from the valve.

I have 2 paintball regulators one regulated at 1000psi and the second one at 1200psi.

Which one would you be in favor of using guys?

I'm thinking about getting a Umarex 850 m2 and save the Baker airguns for that one but that would be in a future plan and that might not come to a reality.

One of my favorite easy rifles,A Or ing is an O ring like a tire is a tire.

I used to think about "tricking" my 850 out,but I think it is a waste,It gets so many shots as is,my only mod was to little the trigger pull.

Maybe for you it is hard to get the canisters of co2,if so there is a rifle like the 850 that is already a PCP.

Pretty sure you are going to need a regulator extender to go along with what you already have to get the bottle out enough to clear the gauges from the stock.

Here are a few examples:

Your extension looks different as well. Here is what I see from Baker that seems longer than yours:

You are probably also going to need a different hammer spring to avoid valve lock if you go to high on pressure:

Finally, here is at least one thread on them:

That is everything I gleamed from looking at this topic. I traded for a Hammerli 850 converted to HPA because it was so cheap, but I have honestly never fired it since I'm working on other things with my CO2 Hammerli.

Anyway, hope some of that rambling helps.

CO2 is really temperature sensitive and I hate how much the velocity varies with it. I have measured the velocity in different ambient temperatures at 23C ~ 25C it shoots at 630FPS with Crosman premier domed ultra magnum 14.3gr average but at 10C ~ 15C it shoots at 540FPS with the same pellet. I always need to re zero the scope due to the variation in temperature.

Also PCP's now a days are really expensive due to the price of the US dollar going up. The price of a Benjamin Marauder in Mexico in USD is $958. The price of a Hammerli 850 in Mexico in USD is $527 + $10USD the Adapter (from aliexpress) + $54.74USD for Tank and regulator (from aliexpress). for $600USD you can make your own PCP with a lothar walther barrel and regulated.

I'm using the short adapter because I'm going to drill holes for the gauge and the fill port in the I don't like how the hammerli looks with the long adapter I want the adapter and the regulator to be as recessed as much as possible into the stock like this picture that I took from the Canadian airgun forum.
