2+ years dry here. it became obvious during covid I wasn't having fun anymore so no more. I barely miss it too,

I was never a booze hound. But I was buddies with Jack at times. Wife took ill 3 yrs. ago, not able to drink alcohol, I followed suit, having maybe 1 beer a year. Ironically my daughter was here on the weekend and I pulled out this whith I bought in Michigan about 6 yrs. ago.

I’ve got some of the best tasting well water you could dream for. Run through Brita and make ice with it. Two fingers of Jack, same amount of Brita.” I was taking back things I didn’t even steal”. What a drink, I told her I’ll wait till she comes again, to have another. Hope she comes this weekend. It was that good. Crow

Actually it is the opposite of government run. When you are new and have not read the rules or made the effort to understand them it is irritating and frustrating.
Conversely, when you have been here a while, are genuinely interested in air guns and the topics discussed here and are willing to be a participating member you are given the privilege of full participation. The rule is a bulwark against hit and run users on the classifieds where trust and honor are a requirement to protect fellow members.
The government works the opposite direction allowing everybody to have something without earning it.
Simple as that.

There is a guy in the Classifieds that has a take off Beeman stock I was going to make an offer on .
But I guess he can sell it to another because I cant converse with him about it.
