I need some opinions from Kral owners

What is your experience? Quality? Accuracy? Specifically the Kral Bighorn. I know it’s Turkish so labor is cheap but Turkey can make some nice guns…just not shotguns lol. How do you tune it for more power?

Is it regulated? If so, how do you adjust the regulator? What is max fill pressure?

Quality? It depends on your standards. Accuracy? On par with other guns in that price range. There is nothing exceptional about them and nothing horrible. I only own two and what stands out about them is they are comfortable guns to shoot. That big ole thing you’re looking at will be nice and comfy on the bench. I refined both of my Krals because I can’t stand blubbery guns with a lot of mechanical noise. But both shot fine in their original states.

I bought a .25 from Troy Hammer that he tuned to 80+ For 2 magazines.and I converted it to a slug gun. It was a good experience going through Troy. You can buy spare and bolt/barrel combinations from Canada Shooting supply.

Very important to me is that the magazines are long enough for 25 caliber slugs. I cast MPMolds .253 44.5 grain hp that I shoot at 930 fps.

I have had the same experience Vetmx has had and would add that they are far above other Turkish brands.

I'm the US importer for the Bighorn. They seem accurate in 25 and 30 pellets. The 357 barrels I got were no good. The hammer and spring from factory weren't suitable for my liking so I modify them. Once finished the .30 gets 4 magazines (36) Shots at 900fps with 44.75 JSB and will shoot a 3/8" group at 35 yards. They come both regulated and unregulated. Most are not. 2nd picture shows the hammer mod. It's shortened and drilled out to 1/2" same depth as Factory and a shortened spring from a Benjamin Bulldog installed. 3 coils removed and a new spring guide.

I’m looking to shoot 34 grain JSBs at 900 FPS. How is it that some are unregulated and others are not? Can I get the regulated one? Do you sell them? Are you the owner of thebestairgun.com? How would I tune it to shoot 900 FPS with 34 grains?

I’m looking to get under inch groups at 75 yards…possible? How did you refine them?

Well, since you want to move a heavy pellet fast, I’m not sure if the regulated Kral has enough plenum without going with a crazy reg setting. Troy will know. But unregulated and some mods, it shouldn’t be hard. The Jumbo I built is regulated and good out to 75 yards but it’s a .22 and I built it around the 15.89 pellet. After 75 it starts to open up. My other Kral is a .22 Empire XS. It’s solid out to 50 with 18.1’s but it’s a tiny little bullpup so I don’t kid myself into thinking it’s a dead in the bags bench gun. Out of the box if you just shot the 25gr pellet the gun was probably designed around, you would have less hurdles to jump.

On Krale.shop…you can buy them from there too…it says 60 foot pounds in .25 cal which means it should be pushing a 34 grain at around 900 FPS.
