My wife shoots a Regal. I shoot a Steyr. I'm looking for something in between we can both use as a backup for a match when one of them breaks. Fairly light weight for her would be good

I agree with Kdog (Keith). He has told me he had finished second in two FT competitions with his before I bought it used from him in .177. It’s very lightweight, super accurate, over 70 shots in the sweet spot from 220b to 150b where ES is less than 20 fps. It’s easy to shoot and a tack driver with JSB 10.3 gr pellets. I’m totally happy with the trigger as well. Don’t know if Keith adjusted it or not but it’s very good with light first stage and crisp light second stage. It has a power adjuster to go from 935 to 910 to 810 fps in Hi, Med, and Low. Highly recommended for FT and also squirrel and rabbit hunting up to about 65 to 70 yards. I had a ground squirrel head shot at 60 yards a few weeks ago. Very DOA.

No, it has a 3 position knob on the side. It isn’t regulated but it has a 70 shot spread equivalent to a regulated gun. Not sure if hammer force is easily adjustable or not

I did adjust the trigger on your Bantam Centercut...it's basically at the point if you unscrew the adjusting trigger pull screw any further the rifle will not cock.its not a match grade trigger but it is very repeatable and predictable.LW barrel also makes it very accurate and is by far the best balanced rifle I used for offhand shots.

Awesome, thanks Kdog. The trigger is very good with your adjustments. Almost as good as my FX Bobcat. I like the gun very much, it’s my first .177 and very accurate. It shoots at exactly 20 fpe in Hi Power setting. It also shoots the 10.6 gr H&N Barracuda Match pellets very accurately. Thanks again.

I once had an FX Cyclone. Looking back, I think this would be a good rifle for field target.
It's very light (5.7 lbs), short (38 inches) and has three power settings. The low level would be good for the 12 fpe class and the high level for 20 fpe class.

Skip, the only other comparable gun I can think of would be the FX Streamline. I hear good things about them but haven’t seen anything about the .177 or how the ST barrel does with .177 pellets. You’ll be happy with the Brocock. Either the Bantam or Compatto Target.

Air Arms s400 MPR FT. The one I have is as accurate as my Steyr LG110 ft, at a 1/3 of the cost. It also has a shorter LOP, which might suit your wife. Easily shimmed out for a longer LOP.

I had one several years ago. One of the things I need is a rifle that has the screw that attaches to the stock some Where forward of th trigger so I can attach a knee rest so I can use it in Open FT class.

Skip there are almost too many ways to attach a rail. Adding a short section of "euro rail" inletted into the bottom of any rifle should only ad to the rifles value ( if done correctly/professionally) .
$ for $ the Gauntlet would be the best back up. Regulated, shoots an entire match + sight in on one fill, price range low enough for heavy rain shooting. But it sound like you need something a bit fancier.

Skip maybe I am mis-remembering but didn't you have a Daystate Panther at one point? That seems like it would make a great backup.
