I phone 6 scope can issues

Does anyone using an iPhone 6 as a scope cam have an issue with the picture being "blown out" or way to bright to see through the phone. I have no problem using the phone to film in bright conditions off the scope, but as soon as I put it on the scope if it's sunny the picture gets blown out. I figure it may have something to do with the scope "gathering" to much light. Does anyone have a remedy to this? Thanks.

When I tap & hold on mine it will lock both the AF/AE. But if your exposure is locked and you moved the scopecam to something brighter...yes it will appear washed out.

Guessing most iphone/scopecam guys probably lock in those settings right before the shot(s)?
If they move off to other targets (brighter or dimmer) then I'm guessing they reset the exposure?
Or leave AE/AF it off and let the iphone constantly adjust those settings for you?

Sorry I'm not more help.
