I recrown my Bantam .177 non regulated and now it shoots pellets and slugs really well.

Since I bought this rifle some years ago I was not really comfortable with the accuracy.

Last night I thought: What can I do for that rifle to make it more accurate?...... Then I remember I had not recrown it yet.

First thing in the morning went to my studio, took the Bantam unscrew the shroud and the tip that holds the shroud in place and recrown it.

Went shooting and immediately notice that with the JSB 8.4 grain the accuracy was really good. Then I load a magazine with NSA slugs ..... Perfectly accurate also !!!

I just shot to 70 yards, but at that distance now that small rifle is pefectly functional !!

Another medal for the drill and the magic recrowning tip !!

Just hold the barrel with your left hand (if you are right handed), rest the tip as aligned as possible in the tip of the barrel and make the drill run. Feel the debast and stop and see how it goes. 1.5 millimeters of deep are enough.
