FX I thought the better of my post and deleted it

I came into this sport a 100% traditionalist. Give me a wood stocked long rifle. I hate to admit it but the tactical look and bullpup configuration in general has taken over for me. I have an ugly gun. Skout epoch. It really is but for some reason I really like it. 🤷‍♂️
Same, but for me the bullpup is purely for function and utility. I really want a nice DRS but the stubby length of a 500mm FX is something I dont think I can give up. Maybe something like the older Walnut tube version of the Wildcat is a good compromise for me...

1980 was the last time I had to qualify on the M16 and it was still a horrible weapon. So the Armalite style of rifle I find repulsive.

For some reason the Kalashnikov SV-99 LR is the cat's meow for me, and somehow it translates for me into this in PCP:

Some tactical gun are uglier than others, I viewed my PCPs rifles as tools. I like the no nonsense functionality of tact guns, no worries about scratching a nice wooden stock.
100% I've owned really nice airguns like the Daystate Hunstman and others with beautiful walnut stocks. Always worried if it would get scratched I rarely used them for the reason they were bought. Sent them on their way to someone who would appreciate them more. But my "ugly" Taipans get used all the time lol aame with the Notos. My Evol Mini though I wouldn't ever call ugly as others against tactical guns are but also not afraid to use it for its purpose.
