I wish the Challenger Pro came with a wood stock option

I hear ya. I disliked the looks of my Challenger Pro so much I tried to sell it. When nobody seemed interested I decided to do my best at "de-ugly-fying" it without spending too much. Below is the result (I've since added a bigger scope). Now I enjoy shooting it as much as any of my other rifles. Gobs of power and much better than average accuracy. My only complaint is the trigger, I wish it was adjustable. If they made a bullpup version of the Challenger Pro I'd buy one.

I agree with you for sure. Hold tight though as AEA drops a new version gun about every 5 minutes. I really wish they would put an adjustable HS especially on their regulated guns. First thing I would do is open it up and drop the reg pressure down. I guess you can cut the transfer port adjuster but you are still way over sprung for a lower reg pressure. From the videos I’ve seen the challenger pro seems it would be over sprung even with the lighter spring they offer.

Yep, that's my experience. The Challenger Pro is definitely designed for heavy slugs. Mine is a .22 and I've gone from 24.5 gr to 27.8 gr slugs and with the regulator tuned down to 125 bar it's still slinging them at 980 fps.

Back to the subject of stocks: I've always thought the Challenger Pro was butt ugly. Not sure that a wood stock would make it any less ugly IMO, but it might improve the ergonomics and get rid of all the wiggle.
