Iguana hunter camouflage for gun super soaker or nerf gun ?

I live in a small town/city and any display of what could possibly be an assault weapon will bring a police response.
In a effort to alleviate any potential concerns of neighbors I’ve decided to
Decorate my FX M3 to appear as a toy
Bright yellow, blue and pink ? Maybe even
Cannibalize a toy gun for pieces to give a realistic appearance of it being a toy.
Anyone else try this ?

I perform iguana removal as a service. No clue where you are shooting, but if I am walking around a community/area I call the non-emergency police line to let them know what’s going on. Also, be smart about how you carry. When around people I try to keep everything zipped up until ready to take a shot. If you need to open carry, things like clothing and sling position matter.

Depending on the scenario, maybe talk to the neighbors.

I was asking about how others may have
Make their guns look like toys as camouflage

The title of your thread leads me to believe that this is all being done because you want to hunt iguanas without drawing too much attention to what you are doing. @Treks has some very good advice if that is truly what you are trying to accomplish. Something else you might want to think about is if the police do get a call about what you are doing and show up to find you with a rifle that is obviously being disguised to look like a toy (instead of a rifle) they may have a different attitude than if you are not trying to 'deceive'. Just a thought, I could be wrong...

Check local ordinances and statutes, call local PD, give them your description (clothing, ethnicity, equipment), time frame and vehicle that you are using, along with a phone number. When you go out make sure to wear something highly visible, may not make sense, but you want to make sure you dont look like you're some random sneaking around with a gun. I do iguana removal for a living, just be smart about how you carry yourself and your rifle. In the last 3 years of working I have only had 2 encounters with police and 1 was only because the gate guard didnt tell the cops that I was working for the community.
