Iguana meat

I’ve never had it, but people do eat them for sure. We threw ours away because they were city dwelling Iguanas & @orion made a good point that you never know what they are eating or being fed, ie poisons or Round Up etc. I know Casa y Pesca eats them to include the eggs. I would recommend eating wild ones that aren’t in the city, but that’s just me.

I just got this book in the mail today. It was about $10 on ebay. I'll let you know how it tastes next week.

Official Guide, that’s funny. Look to the left, look to the right, they are everywhere!!! The little pond outside of Bass Pro Shops in Dania was inundated with them.

Omg I've driven by that pond a couple times in the last 2 weeks. They are everywhere... they even have wild rabbits running around in the same area. Great place to hunt

You should have said, I was going to hook you up with a hunt.

This trip was to set our place up for our son to go on his honeymoon. We didnt plan on any "down time", but while we were down there they shut it all down (activities, erc) we still went to our beach and some other areas, but we didnt plan any events so we could set it up for their honeymoon (decorating, groceries, etc). Right now we are set to go back down in september then october. After october hits we are usually down there 1 week out of every 4, so plenty of time for fun!

Plus, I didnt even bring an air rifle with me this trip.

Ok, gotcha. I will go down when they ease up also. My bud comes up here in September from Aquadilla, PR to hunt. I have four squirrel removal permissions I just hit 91 dead squirrels in two months. I never would have guessed the problems they cause on farm equipment.

91 squirrels! Probably had only 12 in that same time period. That is awesome. And, yes, the damage is rediculous...
