I'm new to PCP guns, just got a 30 cal. Blitz got a couple questions

.... They say this rifle will do 100 rounds at max. velocity. I need a real world education....... Any comments ?
Actually, from the additional information tab, 100 shots is not at max. velocity. It's "Optimal Velocity" which calculates out to 620fps.

Max Velocity * (Lead Pellets).22 – 1050 FPS, .25 – 970 FPS, .30 – 730 FPS

Shots at Optimal Velocity ***.22 – 130, .25 – 110, .30 – 100

******Optimal Velocity is the number of shots within 85% of peak velocity.

0.85 x 730fps = 620fps

What velocity do you have it set for?

this is a brand new gun, I don't know much about it yet. I hand pumped it to 3600 on the pump gauge which equaled 3000 on the gun gauge. Oh and the gun doesn't leak it was the hand pump that started leaking. Now I've seen a Youtube video that showed that under the plastic stock there is an adjustment air pressure screw, but I have not done this, it's set bone stock from the factory. At this point I want to know how low I can go on the air pressure and still keep optimal velocity. I need it to hit as hard as it can, my goal is to hunt pigs with a night vision setup.

welcome to the world of airguns. 😊
Not to sound discouraging but if you plan to fill to 3600 psi you’ll definitely need a compressor.
Also if the blitz only shoots at the speeds someone is listing above, be aware your at the lower end of the power level you’ll need. (In my opinion) just be precise with shot placement.
I have a friend that recently moved to Hawaii and is getting into airguns with similar goals in mind. He purchased a uragun 2 .25. I have plans to come out to visit him in January. Do you think I can make it in a canoe or should I find some other way?😬

Merry Christmas....... yeah I picked up a cheap pump so I could check out the pump process and have a backup fill source, it was a 1000 pump experience, no thanks. I'm a old scuba diver and always have full tanks around so I picked up a fill adapter as my main source, might consider a compresser. I agree these are a little light on impact compared to other rifles but I got it new delivered for under $700 and figured since it's full auto it would be an easy flip if it doesn't hit hard enough....... Put a sail on that canoe and you'll have a better chance but I'd wait till summer... Aloha

The good news is if you have a tank that goes to 4500psi then the best answer is to get the fittings and get your fills at a dive shop. Being where you are I suspect dive shops are as common as gas stations.
