As I noted on another post, I just bought a 5x30 / Mil Dot Rapid Reticle From Wes in Canada.

Sorta like above, I put it on my Cricket 2, .22, WSA stock gun. I had to adjust the base to the 20MOA line, then a couple more clicks. Very bright, easy to sight/aim. Seems solid, well built (on the surface anyway), it's still new, so we'll see how well it holds up to my careful gun handling ! Not saying that my cats might not knock it down from standing at a bookcase though.

I may have to buy another one, and figure out what gun to put it on !

i have a couple in 5x power if interested..I will sell one. think I have two 5x & a 10x24 & a MTc 10x30. I am going to mount the 10x24 on my impact in the next day or two & see how I like it. the 5x are real nice, but after hunting with one of them I find a lil under powered for me. Probably put one of them on a PB.

For me 5x-6x minimum magnification seems necessary for hunting small animals. What was your issue(s)? And which minimum magnification is your preference for hunting? The Immersive Optics prismatic scope FOV seems wider so higher magnifications could work well with their scopes from what I’ve read in this thread. At least that’s what I’m trying to understand.

On my variables i uses lower powers a lot, but just nice to have 10 power. I feel i can be more precise with my pellet placement on the head of a squirrel with 10 at 50-60 yards caompared to 5x.

Well got the 10 x24 on the compact Impact today & shot it , shoots nice and feels good . I got it down to 6 pounds 10 oz as is. I can probably get it down to 6.5 if i take the bag rider off. I took an old Wildcat shroud & cut some of the length from it. I like the looks of the shroud against the reciever. This is my Impact Compact Lite.

Where can I currently buy the 10x24 in the US? It used to be Amazon but there's no Immersive products there now. Is everything just sold out while they ramp up the new product lines?

I ordered a 10x40MDE from Wes @ airgunarcheryfun and it came in the mail last night. Unfortunately there was a bit of a mix up and I actually received the 10x40MD. Reached out to [email protected] and Wes told me that it was an accident on his part. He sent a return label to me and said he'd get the correct scope in the mail. I did take a peek through the scope since I had it in my hands and I can say that the image is magnitudes brighter and larger than my UTG Bugbuster 3-9x-32AO. The Diopter settings on the 10x40 actually work with my eyes. I was never able to get the Diopter set on my bugbuster without a ton of eyestrain.

Eye relief is short, sort of like a pair of binoculars. I do like the rubber eye cup, as it blocks out other light sources when you look through the scope. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long to get the 10x40MDE in my hands, as I'm itching to get it mounted on my Cricket II Tac.

I'll check the scope's manual tonight, but honestly given that these should only be used on non-recoiling rifles (pcps), I have gone with "decently snug" as my torque spec. I have moved my scopes around a bit testing them between guns and none of them have loosened themselves. I typically tighten them by turning the short side of the key so it's really hard to make them *too* tight.
