Just mounted it (10x24) on my Cricket 2 Tactical. This is going to be interesting.

Have not shot it yet, only looked through it. It is VERY clear and crisp. Saying it has short eye relief is an understatement!

It is going to take some getting used to, but it has potential!

I finally got some trigger time today with the Cricket II Tactical and the Immersive Optics scope. I only shot at 35 yards, but I'm coming away impressed!

These first 3 sighting shots made me smile. It does not get much better than this.

My main "task" was to see how many shots I was getting from a fill (ends up with 150+ 41 fpe shots with fx 18s).

I'm super impressed with how well it handles glare. It has essentially no shade AND I was shooting east in the morning...

The reticle is thicker than I like, but one can hardly call this a target scope. The field of view is really this scopes most unique character. And it is w I d e.

What really struck me was seeing the small puffs of dust that would emanate from the bullet box after each pellet impact. There was just perfect back lighting to make it out perfectly. 

The focus was great and the clarity was very good. I eventually got used to essentially pressing my eyeglasses against the objective, but this was uncomfortable at first.

Again this was only 35 yards, but here are over 150 shots and I only had 2 flyers.

I chronographed every shot and really got to appreciate having both a good image of the target AND also being able to see the metal supports for the light diffusers on the chronograph at the same time.

I can totally see how this would be a very cool hunting combo!

Ive been quizzing others on another thread about this optic. It seems to have a LOT of promise, the obvious issue being super short eye relief.

So my question im asking is this, when you have it set for sitting position, how does it change when you go prone? Im trying to see if its flexible enough for hunting and shooting in a variety of shooting positions.

I have not tried prone shooting with this setup yet. Sounds like some fun homework for the weekend ;-) I'll circle back with a report!

Sorry @TacticalAnt, I have not done any shooting from a prone position yet but here are some pics looking through it (taken using my cell phone). The first pic was taken using the wide angle lens on my phone. It is not as sharp as the "normal" lens, but I wanted to show what the full field-of-view looks like at 10x. The 2nd pic is using the normal lens on my phone. It's sharper and gives you a better view of the reticle:

I have the 14x50 but what you want me to say? = review. I know expensive photographic lenses that is my hobby for over 40 y's, from that perspective:

This IO scope is a very nice prime lens mounted on Leshiy2, I never had anything like this before (=single power) and I like it, impressive sharp and impressive wide angle. Shooting between 10 to 60, freehand mostly silhouettes at the dedicated range, also some paper at 20-30-40-50 meters from a bench. It toke me a while to learned the place for the turn knob (when I am focusing inside the lens) and I just printed one zoom/focus throw lever for it. Also toke me some time to get used to - no elevation turret but compensate the hold over-under.

For high power scopes I had several, I can compare those. Currently the Falcon X50 is mounted on my Impact and most likely it will stay there for a while.

I am shooting at my gunclub only and no backyard or woods plinking.

These low , no eye relief scopes are no probelm for me at all & I am the most critical optic person around these parts. The thing is get it set up right. You need to get the height exact & then get it mounted so when you put your cheek on the stock, your eye is lined up perfect. This is going to take trial & error & different mounts etc. For me I actually touch my brow ( top of eye socket) to the scope. I also like the MTC connect but the diopter lacked adjustment for my eyesight. But the Atom rocks in my book & for offhand shooting , & hunting I think thye are great. But I dont think most people really like them. If the price on these is not too bad, I am going to buy one. think I paid 500 or so for the atom.

Ok, I see I am talking to myself ( again ) & ( lol) But looks like the MTC Atom 10x30 & the MTC SWAT is 12x50. So kind of looks like to keep from stepping on the MTC line , Imerrsive is not offering this arrangement. ( yes /no) Can see why. But Imerssive offerings are 5x24, 5x30, 10x24, 10x40 & 14x50.



Ok is the imerssive line illuminated ret?

think the 10x24 at 8 something ounces would be worth trying, that is amazing in the weight department. 8 .74 oz.. yeah I can get into that.
