i've had Impacts since they were first made available in December. Finally received my .177 barrels and also some black Impacts with the new fill port making grip of the adapter a little easier. The Silver one's received did not have this.

Nice that FX is making a fix on the fill port. How many pellet will the .177 magazine hold?
Wondering if owners of Impact will be getting replacement fill port or we will have to paid for it as an upgrade part?

Parrots you're in the UK right? Out of curiosity, have you ever been able to get .177 ST barrel blanks from FX? Have they ever been available? They seem to be unobtainium here in the US except for a select few, and even then not to be had very often.

I'm not sure I like the gun enough to fix the issues at the dremel level.. I'm really not wowed by the hold, feel, and shouldering of the gun. It just doesn't feel natural and the face to stock interface feels weird to me. And I don't like holding a bottle as my shooting grip. Tomorrow I'll work on the trigger adjustments and aluminum foil shim the rear scope mount to get the scope lined up correctly with the barrels and into the middle of the elevation turret. Then I'll try some groups from 20 to 100.

The part around the fill port can easily be taken off, it#s only a small piece. Contact your dealer and ask them to get you one with the cut out if you really want that, even if you need to pay, i can't see it costing too much.

Yes in the UK.
I have seen a few for sale previously. I would need to check with my dealer if he can get some. Can't see why not if there are people with them.

sharroff, i'm not interested in the gun, just the .177 ST barrel blanks. I know a BR shooter here in the US paid for one a couple years back and was told after a year that they were not available and given store credit instead of a refund. Recently Ernest Rowe posted a thread about using a .177 ST blank for a project but never responded to my request on information about getting one, or more.
I don't know if it's a black out issue here in the US or just a production issue across the pond but they seem to be a nice accurate barrel and could be a big seller if FX, and/or it's distributors are willing. Maybe I'll start a thread in the MFG's feedback section with the same questions.
