Impact M3 1st Reg

The 1st reg on my .22 M3 came set to 190 from factory. Is this normal or should I do it to 150. I shoots JSB 18.13gr fine at approx 870fps.

I'd change it to 150 if it were mine

First check if the gauge isnt faulty before you adjust something. Check with another gauge if its actually 190 bar

Mine came set at 170. For jsb18g you can totally dial it down.

If you have any intention of trying slugs in the future, leave it at 190b. If you are only shooting pellets, you could drop it to 150b, but it is unlikely you will notice any difference. Remember, MKII had no first reg.

I just got around to examine the tuning on mine. Watched Steve's video. Mine came at 130, 4, 90, 3.0 and 16. I guess they don't really come tuned correctly from factory? Unless I am misunderstanding something, for .22 18.1g reg 1 should be 150, reg 2 should be 70-75. I guess I need to get a chrono and start measuring.

There was a thread on this a while back, FX responded that the factory setting should be 150.
