Impact m3 35 cal compact

Seems like I remember shooter1721 doing a video where he slapped on a 500mm .35 and he got right around 800 fps or just a bit over.
That's very interesting. I was thinking you would need to have to push the gun harder for that big .35. I have a 500mm in .22 and I wanted to conv my 700mm .25 to a 500mm .30 or .35. Do you know what the sweet spot is, FPS wise, for .30 or .35 pellets?

130 FPE / 850 FPS with 80gr should be do-able @ 170~ bar but that depends on the regulators range, I know the Huma reg could get it there, not sure if the amp reg can (Idk its operating range as its not published, Huma's is)

At 150 bar you're looking at closer to 118 FPE / 810 FPS

So straight from factory Rick/shooter1721 probably did his due diligence.

Never shot .35. The jsb 44.75 are def capable of running fast. I can run them 920-930 in my vulcan three and they are very stable and accurate.

I'm glad you mentioned that as I bit the bullet yesterday and ordered a .30 cal 500mm barrel swap kit to replace my .25 700mm barrel. I also picked up 5 cans of the JSB 44.75 too. I'll start at 880 FPS and move up from there. Hopefully, I can get to the 920-930 FPS and have stable rounds like you are getting out of your Vulcan 3. That's 84 ft lbs!

I've never tried the compact version. Mine is an 800mm slug barrel. My gun is also highly modified from stock. I've had it at 975 fps with the 93 grain nsa's but it used too much air. Even with a 700cc bottle. I have it set at 930fps currently with great accuracy. I deleted my 1st reg and run a huma extra high pressure second reg set at 190 bar. My thought is a shorter dwell time with a high pressure burst of air is better than the opposite.
