Tuning Impact M3 questions

Hello, I have an Impact M3 with 300 bar gauge & bottle. I've been running around 200 and 160 bar on my regs (.30cal). Overall I'm pretty happy with it. Shooting Patriot 52s & FX hybrids around 1000fps. However my front reg has a slow leak and tends to bounce around more than I like. I'm considering the front reg bypass (delete) as a quick fix for the leaks and possibly prevent poi shifts when I get down to 1st reg pressure levels cuz it seems to start falling off when bottle gets around 200 BAR. Question are...
1. Will I still have the option to fill over 250 bar if I want to with the bypass installed?
2. Should I be considering a high pressure 2nd reg (huma)?
3. Is there something else you would recommend more?

Thank you!!!

From my understanding, the impact is only rated for 250bar. I understand some people fill their 300 bar rated bottles to 300 bar for more shot count, but if your 1st reg fails you will be puting over 250 bar in the gun and against the 2nd reg. Not a safe plan imo and I would stick to 250 bar fills. A 700cc bottle may be a better option for you.

I run a reg delete and have a huma extra hp 2nd reg installed. Mine is set at 190 bar and I am pushing 93 grain .357 nsa's at 930fps. The 1st reg was a hindrance for my setup.

It’s unfortunate our world has become a remove altogether or remove and replace. Bandaid fixes. No one wants to troubleshoot and fix anymore. If the Huma brings on its own set of headaches, what to do then?

You know where I’m going with this- fix the leak, and start the retune. You’ll feel way better in the end, and you’ll know your gun better. Plus, parts are easily had at fx.

Come to think of it, you’re probably still under warranty.

I second this comment. It isn't hard to work on these things, especially with all the you tube videos out there for it.

I actually like tinkering on it. I knew the 1st reg just had a bad o ring, that wasn't the only reason I ended up getting the saber bypass. It's easy to go back but so far I really like the way it's performing. I turned the 2nd reg down to 150 and just been filling my 700cc to 270 for now. Not super happy with shot count atm, might go slightly lower on my reg but for now I don't see any reason to upgrade it.

Just fyi.....They're rated for 300 bar. Says so right in the manual.
